HOW DO WE RESERVE A GROOVE MOBILE DJ?

After our initial consultation, we will email you a custom proposal based on your event needs. If you have no further questions and would like to book your DJ for your event, simply reply to the email, call, or text with your approval. A signed service agreement with the event details, agreed-upon price, and a paid $500 retainer fee will secure your event. Once the event is booked, you will receive a text invite to download our event and music planning app (VIBO 2.0).

IS THE SERVICE AGREEMENT AMENDABLE?

We can make amendments to the agreement at any time during the planning process (time, packages, lighting needs ect.). We book with many clients so far in advance from their event date that all of the details may not be set in stone at the time of booking. We can work together to find the best estimate for time and package needs when booking and reconfirm when plans solidify.

HOW DO WE PLAN OUR MUSIC AND EVENT WITH YOU?

The planning app, VIBO, allows you to choose all of your music from the convenience of your phone. It provides curated lists, a search function, the ability to import your Spotify/Apple Music playlists into the app and so much more! After personalizing the app with a photo you can choose songs for your various event categories. The app will prompt you for the details of your event while the progress bar will help keep you on track and ensure that we have every event detail covered.

• It is important that cell phone numbers be provided for anyone who would like to have the “Host” privileges. You can also invite event attendees to have “Guest” privileges (cocktail hour, dinner, open dancing).

CAN WE GO TO A WEDDING WHERE YOUR DJS ARE PERFORMING?

Groove Mobile respects the privacy of all our clients; therefore, we do not allow clients to attend wedding events to view our services. After all, would you want a complete stranger at your wedding distracting your DJ with questions? We believe that our focus should be on the wedding couple and their guests, not on selling our services to other clients. We do, however, DJ many public events at various nightclubs, restaurants, businesses, and sporting events on a weekly basis. We can inform you of our schedule if you would like to attend one of our many public performances. We also have mixes available online. We encourage you to read our reviews on Wedding Wire or view our content on social media. Current photos and videos of our work is posted on our Instagram and Facebook pages.

DO YOU HAVE BACKUP EQUIPMENT?

This is an absolute must and a question that we encourage you to ask your potential DJ! We carry additional cables, microphones, mixer, speakers, iPads (loaded with emergency mixes), and most importantly a backup cloned copy of our laptop. All it takes is a spilled drink to stop the music in this digital age. We can have the music playing in a matter of seconds with either the backup laptop or the connected iPad.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?

As with all of our services, we have a reserve DJ on call in case an emergency arises, giving you peace of mind. We have never missed an event.

HOW MUCH ROOM WILL THE DJ NEED? DO I NEED TO PROVIDE A TABLE?

Our DJ system is versatile enough for any space, large or small. Your DJ will need a 6’ banquet table and minimal room for the speakers and lights. Most event sites will provide a skirted table for the DJ at no charge. We use a DJ booth façade for our Gold, Platinum, and Diamond packages to avoid the standard “banquet table” look.

WHEN IS OUR VIBO MUSIC AND PLANNING DUE?

We request your VIBO app planning forms be completed no later than one week prior to your wedding date. The app will lock you out from making changes 4 days prior to the event. This allows us time to prepare all of your music and gives us time to schedule our final phone call to go over the selections and timeline.

WHEN IS OUR BALANCE DUE?

Your full balance is due the day before the event date. Many couples decide to pay the balance in advance. Taking care of the balance in advance allows you to relax and enjoy your special day without worrying about payment transactions.

HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENT?

We accept payment in the form of Venmo (@David-Leden), PayPal (djgroovetech@gmail.com), Zelle, cash, or check (Groove Mobile DJs) mailed to 26624 N. 41st St., Cave Creek, AZ 85331. For those wanting to use a credit card to make a payment please let us know and we will send you a PayPal invoice with a link to make the payment.
